In support of the worldwide initiative, on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the participation of the HYIM in Erasmus+ projects and in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages, Erasmus Day was held at the HYIM on October 16. The on-line meeting was attended not only by teachers, employees and students of the Institute of Medical Sciences, but also by colleagues from DDPU and other universities of Ukraine. Managers of current Erasmus + projects gave reports on the progress of project implementation.
BURN project manager Assoc. Tetyana Borozentseva introduced the audience to the purpose, tasks and expected results of the project, which has actively started and is gaining momentum. She especially emphasized the importance of the project's goals for displaced persons and displaced universities. The leading tasks of the BURN project are to improve the provision of psychological help, in particular in internally displaced universities, and to create centers of psychological resilience in higher education institutions. Those present were greeted by the deputy director of the Institute of Medical Sciences, prof. Tetyana Marchenko wished the project teams strength, unceasing enthusiasm and an inexhaustible source of energy to achieve high project results.
