English Access Microscholarship Program

On May 14, a solemn ceremony of awarding certificates of successful completion of studies under the Access program ("English Access Microscholarship Program") to the first graduates took place. The project "Program of small scholarships for the study of the English language" is a two-year program of studying the English language and elements of the US culture for teenagers aged 13-15, aimed at developing their leadership qualities and raising socially active citizens. The project is implemented in more than 80 countries of the world. In Ukraine, it is successfully implemented by the international non-profit organization "Project Harmony, Inc. Ukraine" and is financed by the State Department of the United States of America. Last year, Bakhmut also joined this project.

The event was attended by John Silver, the regional English language attaché of the Embassy of the United States of America in Ukraine, director of the international non-profit organization ProjectHarmony, Inc. Andrii Haydamashko, director of the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages, Yevgenia Belytska, teachers of the Department of Romance-Germanic Philology, Yuliya Gordienko and Roman Sytniak, parents of the successful graduates of the program.

The meeting ended with informal communication of students with John Silver and other guests.
