On March 14, the GIIM (Dnipro) held a grand opening of a modern Conference Room, the equipment for which was purchased with funds from the grant of the Erasmus + DigiFLEd educational project "Modernization of university educational programs in foreign languages based on integration with information technologies" funded by the European Union. (DigiFLEd 2024-2026 )
The list of equipment includes a conference camera with auto-focus, an interactive panel with a built-in computer and licensed software, a wireless microphone system with a microphone, an interactive monitor, a mixing amplifier, and portable charging stations to ensure uninterrupted operation of the equipment.
The room will be used for live broadcasts of online conferences, webinars, roundtables, which will be held as part of the Erasmus + DigiFLEd project and more.
At the opening, a member of the project team, Dean of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages, Assoc. Prof. Roman Sytnyak, spoke. He thanked the European Union for supporting higher education in Ukraine and providing the opportunity for teachers of the Institute of International Relations and project partner teams to modernize approaches to learning foreign languages through digitalization. He also told those present about the goals and objectives of the project and presented the digital resource created by the team Digital Language Hub, which allows you to quickly share digital tools for teaching language and literature, and information about their effective use.
Deputy Director Tetyana Marchenko congratulated all those present on the significant event, emphasized that the implementation of the project at GIIM contributes to the introduction of innovative teaching methods, updating educational programs, adapting European educational standards, and increasing the competitiveness of GIIM in wartime. She wished the project team the implementation of ambitious plans and achieving results.
