On June 14, 2025, the first event of a new public format, “Dialogues for Trust,” took place in Kyiv. This is not a lecture or a talk show, but a structured meeting built on the principles of group-centered facilitation, nonviolent communication, and respect for human dignity.
At the center is not a position, but a person, not an opinion, but an experience.
The goal is to create a space for young people to talk honestly about their own choices, doubts, hopes, and challenges.
Participants
- 10 participants in the dialogue in a circle (aged 18–28)
- 2 facilitators — in particular, Taras Mykolayovych Dyatlyk
Viewers:
- About 35 — offline
- Over 20 — online broadcast on YouTube
- The total coverage was over 55 people.
It was a lively conversation in a circle, in which young people shared personal stories about:
- The choice to stay in Ukraine or leave
- Attempts at implementation, learning and service
- The search for self, meaning, stability, and belonging
The audience were not just observers—they became part of the experience through empathetic listening and reflection.
For the participants, it was a space without judgments, where they could be heard.
For viewers, it is an opportunity to understand youth and themselves more deeply, to rethink their own values and decisions.
GIIM joined the event as a partner and implemented a number of important initiatives:
- Preparation and delivery of certificates to participants on the possibility of free attendance at psychological meetings "Warm Environment", held by the Center for Psychological Resilience of the GIIM with the support of Erasmus+ within the framework of the BURN project
- Preparation and distribution of the booklet:
"Invitation to online training. Special offer! Tuition prices remain at the 2024 level"
Today, young Ukrainians are often in internal conflict:
between fatigue and the desire for change, between pain and hope, between the desire to be here and the temptation to run away.
"Dialogues for Trust" is about a new culture of interaction, in which trust, presence, and choice replace advice and pressure.
We believe that it is not the force of pressure, but the quality of contact that creates change.
The organizers thank all participants, partners and spectators!
Together we create an environment in which young people do not run away, but consciously choose themselves, their community, and Ukraine.
