From June 8 to July 20, 2019 at the University of New York (USA) was an internship at the Department of Domestic and Foreign History Kontsur Victoria Vladimirovna. The training was conducted under the program of the International Summer Institute for the Study of US Country Studies for Teachers of Higher Education Institutions and Scholars.
Representatives of 18 countries had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of American history and society in order to improve courses and teach academic disciplines about the United States in educational institutions.
During the six-week program, in addition to seminars and panel discussions, the interns visited numerous museums, theater performances, concerts, sporting events, and traveled to various cities and towns in New York, Massachusetts, Colorado, New Mexico, and Washington. (District of Columbia). During the internship, participants worked on projects that corresponded to their research interests.
