Today, September 29, 2025, teachers and students of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages took part in the webinar "Digital Tools: New Horizons of Effective Teaching". The event was held as part of the educational project Erasmus+ "Modernization of university foreign language education programs through the integration of information technologies (DigiFLED)".

Webinar speaker, Svitlana Ryabovol, lecturer at the Department of English for Non-Philological Majors Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, demonstrated digital tools that can significantly improve the educational process, make it more interactive, exciting and effective. Participants received many concrete, real-world practical cases and ideas that can be applied today.

Svitlana Ryabovol focused on digital tools that transform any learning into an interactive and effective experience:

Padlet «Sandbox» – a digital sandbox that allows you to play with knowledge without limits. On this virtual wall, students can instantly leave notes, images, videos, links, or even voice messages, facilitating the exchange of information in real time.

Fling – a real magical assistant for everyone who seeks to bring Teamwork, discussion and learning to a new level.

Voki — an interactive and engaging tool that allows teachers to present their lessons by creating speech characters (avatars).
