Strategic session: motivation for learning through analysis of the model of the future

The Center for Psychological Resilience of the GIIM is actively developing its activities with the support of the Erasmus+ KA2 BURN project "Strengthening Psychological Resilience and Well-being of Universities in (Post-)War Ukraine". In cooperation with the career guidance department of the institute, an online event was held on December 11, 2025, which brought together 146 participants - heads of general secondary education institutions in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Luhansk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kherson and Kyiv regions.

The idea of the event was driven by the need to increase students' motivation to study. The strategic session "Motivation for Studying through Analysis of the Future Model" provided an opportunity to discuss key approaches to stimulating students' learning activity and analyze methodological techniques that are effective in the conditions of unpredictable Ukrainian realities.

Focusing on the future through planning one's own professional development, developing the ability to dream, and defining the path to one's own dreams is a powerful resource that helps youth cope with the uncertainty of martial law.

The event resulted in the agreement of plans for further cooperation between the GIIM and schools in Ukraine with the aim of increasing the stress resistance of students and teachers, preventing emotional burnout by strengthening life meanings, modeling the future and determining the path to it through military trials.
