February 18-21, 2020 on the basis of the Scientific and Technical Library of KPI. Igor Sikorsky held a training "University Library in the system of scientific communications." This is the first training within the project "Development of libraries of displaced universities as centers to support educational and research processes", with which the Ukrainian Library Association brought together representatives of displaced universities under the grant program of the US Embassy in Ukraine "Support for Ukrainian displaced universities". The aim of the project is to build the capacity of libraries of relocated universities to intensify their activities as centers of support for educational and research processes. The training from the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages was attended by. at. head of the library VO Piskun and the head of the department of scientific work of students LV Tkachenko. The training program covered many different issues: open science, scientific communication, library and culture of academic integrity, organization of information support for education and research, development of institutional repository, scientometrics and bibliometrics, etc. At the end of the training, its participants passed the test and received a certificate.

The second training "ABIS Koha and the creation of an electronic catalog in the libraries of higher education institutions" is planned for March.
