April 21, 2021 was held at the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Languages IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "MODERN LINGUISTIC PARADIGMS".

The work of the conference was attended by scientists, teachers, master's students from different countries: Iraq (Mosul University; Lebanese French University), USA (Florida State University, Miami University), Poland (Warsaw University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Gdansk University), Romania (University of Craiova), Vietnam (University of Foreign Languages, Hue University), Kazakhstan (West Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov, Aktobe Regional State University named after K. Zhubanov), Russia (Peter the Great Polytech University).

Among domestic universities, the conference was supported by: Donetsk National Medical University, Dnipro National University named after Olesya Honchara, National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", Odesa National University named after I. I. Mechnikov, Central State University named after V. Vinnichenko, Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H. S. Skovoroda, Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy, Kharkiv, Prykarpattia National University named after V. Stefanyka, National University of Law named after Yaroslav the Wise, as well as teachers of a comprehensive school (NVK "Epifanivska ZOSH I-II degree - DNZ").

Undoubtedly, teachers of all departments of the institute made a huge contribution to the work of the conference, for which we are very grateful. The conference program consisted of about 80 reports.

The plenary session was held in real time on the GOOFLEMEET platform. The meeting was opened by the Director of the Institute of Medical Sciences, Candidate of Science. philol. of Sciences, associate professor E.M. Belytska. Reports on topical linguistic issues presented by the following scientists were heard and discussed: doctor of philological sciences, professor of the Donbas State Pedagogical University V. A. Hlushchenko; candidate of philological sciences, associate professor of the State Institute of Medical Sciences, doctoral student of the Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stusa Sytniak R. M.; doctor of philological sciences, professor of GIIIM Gabidullina A. R. Acting head of the department of Germanic philology, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor L. V.
