The International Labor Organization (ILO) announced April 28 as the World Day for Occupational Safety and Health.

According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated August 18, 2006 No. 685/2006, this day is celebrated in Ukraine every year on April 28.

According to the decision of the International Labor Organization, the motto of the mentioned event in 2021 is "Anticipate, prepare and respond to crises - LET'S INVEST NOW IN SUSTAINABLE OHS SYSTEMS" (safety and health at work).
