Day of Slavic writing

Day of Slavic writing

Annually, May 24 all Slavic countries honor the memory of Saints Equal-to-the-Apostles Cyril and Methodius - the creators of Slavic writing. Brothers Cyril and Methodius are educators, creators of the Slavic alphabet, the first monuments of Slavic writing and the Old Slavic language, preachers of Christianity.
