The Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Pedagogical University of DSPU joined the action "National Reading Week", initiated by the Ukrainian Institute of Books together with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

The start of the first action for Ukraine took place on December 13, and this event will last until December 19, 2021. The purpose of the event is to involve Ukrainians in reading, buying and donating books, visiting libraries, as well as to draw attention to Ukrainian book publishing and literature, to support publishing houses, bookstores and libraries.

The slogan of the National Reading Week: "Find your book!". 

On December 15, 2021, on the basis of the GIIM library, teachers of the Department of Ukrainian Philology together with students of the Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication held a round table "Reading is fashionable!". During the event, they got acquainted with the new arrivals of Ukrainian-language books to the library, including the interests of modern Ukrainian literature, shared their own reading preferences.

We are convinced that the number of real book lovers will become more and more every day, and the fashion for books will never pass!
