International Holocaust Remembrance Day

International Holocaust Remembrance Day

January 27 was declared the International Holocaust Remembrance Day by the decision of the UN General Assembly and the European Parliament. The Holocaust is the greatest crime against humanity in history. Each occupied city had its own tragedy.

Ukraine, together with the entire world community, honors the memory of the victims of the Holocaust - the millions of Jewish women, men and children who died at the hands of the Nazis during World War II.

A flash mob is underway around the World Holocaust Remembrance Day #WeRemember.

People are photographed with these words and post photos on social networks, on the pages of educational institutions, to remind humanity that neither the Holocaust, as one of the greatest crimes against humanity, nor its victims are forgotten!

At the initiative of the representative of the volunteer center, first-year student Julia Kozakova, higher education students of our institute also joined the action #WeRememberdedicated to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

With each passing year, the number of Holocaust survivors who can testify to the Holocaust is decreasing.

After a while there will be none left. It is in our power to help you preserve their memory and honor those who died.

Together we can be sure that the past will never be forgotten!
