Annual competitions of the Fulbright Program in Ukraine for the 2023-2024 academic year_Master Studies, Teaching Ukrainian at US Universities

Dear fellow educators,

Despite the tragic circumstances of the war, the Fulbright Academic Exchange Program reaffirms its presence in Ukraine and does not abandon plans for the future.

We are conducting a competitive recruitment for 2023-2024, extending the deadline for acceptance of documents to June 30, 2022 inclusive for two programs:

Fulbright Graduate Student Program: Study at American universities for one to two years for a master's degree. The competition is open to senior students and graduates of the Free Economic Zone. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree at the time of the scholarship.https://fulbright.org.ua/uk/fulbright-graduate-student-program/

Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program: Internship in Ukrainian language teaching (assistance to American teachers) in US universities / colleges lasting nine months. The competition is open to novice teachers and young professionals specializing in linguistics, Ukrainian literature, translation studies, communications, journalism, American studies, and English language teaching. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree at the time of the scholarship (July next year).https://fulbright.org.ua/uk/fulbright-foreign-language-teaching-assistant-program/

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Ukrainian citizenship and residence in Ukraine remain one of the important conditions of the Fulbright Program in Ukraine at the time of the competition (see the section “Requirements for Candidates”).https://fulbright.org.ua/uk/fulbright-graduate-student-program/).

However, given that many students and graduates are not in Ukraine at the moment, we will accept the documents from contestants who continue to stay in Ukraine, as well as those citizens of Ukraine who were in Ukraine until February 24, but were forced to leave the country due to the war.

Office of the Program named after Fulbright works remotely. Please send questions about the preparation of a package of documents or competitive selection to the following e-mail address: office.ukraine@iie.org.

We will be grateful for the dissemination of information, we will be happy to advise the contestants recommended by you.

Let me also inform you that on Thursday, April 14, at 16:00, the Fulbright Office is holding the first presentation of the master's program this spring, to which we invite all interested:
