After the Russian invasion, more than 70 students of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic languages went to European countries - Germany, Poland, Romania, Ireland, Italy, Hungary. All of them join online classes, and some have volunteered. Their knowledge of foreign languages is very much needed at the checkpoints of refugees from war-torn Ukraine. Thus, fourth-year students Mark Zharikov and Victoria Tikhonova in Germany, and Daria Goncharenko in Italy joined the activities of the world's largest humanitarian movement, the Red Cross and Red Crescent. Working side by side with local residents and volunteers from all over the world, they have intensive language practice, get acquainted with the culture and traditions of European countries, disseminate information about events in Ukraine, communicate with like-minded people.
Even one good deed can change society, the country and the world for the better. Therefore, the long-standing Iniaz traditions of volunteering live and multiply.
