Participation in the international project "Innovative University and Leadership".

A representative of GIIIM, associate professor of the Department of English Philology and Translation, responsible for international cooperation, received the honor of participating in the international project "Innovative University and Leadership. Phase VI: Models of Academic Autonomy and the University in a Lifelong Education System". M. Yu. Shkuropat was elected through an open competition in which 113 representatives of higher education institutions of Ukraine applied for 20 places.

The project is supported by: the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Poland, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and under the honorary patronage of the Foundation of Polish Rectors - Institute of Knowledge Society. Co-organizers: from the Polish side - Warsaw University, Jagiellonian University, Artes Liberales Foundation; from the Ukrainian side - the International Charitable Foundation "International Educational Policy Research Fund", the Union of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine.

The main idea of the project in general, it consists in the identification of potential leaders of change among the scientific and pedagogical staff of Ukrainian universities, who are in the positions of heads of academic and administrative units, and are ready to take responsibility for the modernization of Ukrainian higher education soon. Right now, the representative of GIIIM is listening to high-quality trainings on the peculiarities of the implementation of academic autonomy in the conditions of a modern European higher school, studying the Polish experience of building university development programs in the life long leaning system. The project will also contribute to the creation of a personal network of useful and promising contacts, joining the community of participants who develop their activities through the public organization "Innovation University". Project participants will create and implement innovative micro-projects in their higher education institutions and university centers.
