We are all different, but we are all equal!
Differences emphasize our uniqueness, as we all differ in our income level, hobbies, appearance, personality, political views, food preferences, or choice of sexual partners. And this is normal, this is the world we live in, whether we like it or not. We are united by belonging to a single society, so tolerance is a necessary trait that helps such different people to coexist peacefully.
Tolerance is a feature of a civilized society. Because people who want to live in harmony and order will never insult, humiliate or harm a person with opposing views. In developed countries, there is a high level of tolerance: no one restricts the freedom of will of another because he does not agree with someone else's worldview. If all countries reach a high level of tolerance, the number of conflicts against the background of religions, national interests, and cultural differences will decrease.
In simple words, tolerance is acceptance and respect for other people's choices, peculiarities, and opinions. When you assume that another person can express themselves or express themselves as a person freely, without fear of being judged. The choice of another person (be it faith, religion, personal life) must be accepted as a given, and any differences should not be judged, but discussed through civilized conversation (if you are confident enough in your position to support it not with hate speech, but through dialogue ).
Tolerance should not be confused with concession, condescension, rejection of one's beliefs, indifference. This is openness to the world and people, awareness of the diversity of the surrounding world and its uniqueness. Tolerance is a sign of self-confidence and awareness of the reliability of one's own moral, ethical and civic positions.
Tolerance allows people of different backgrounds, religions and beliefs to work and live together, and this promotes greater work efficiency and creates team unity.
