The international computer network has become a part of many people's lives. However, despite the advantages of digital technologies, we must also remember the rules that will help protect ourselves and our loved ones in the space of the Internet. Let's recall some of them:
- do not publish personal data;
- use strong passwords (those consisting of letters, numbers and symbols at the same time); date of birth or first and last name are not the best options ?;
- it is desirable to come up with separate secret words or a certain sequence of characters for each of the accounts;
- avoid sites that are not reliable, download files only from official sources; note that the address of a reliable site must begin with "https://", in addition, the security of the site is confirmed by the "lock" in the address bar;
- analyze any information you read: separate facts from judgments, real events from fiction, draw your own conclusions, check the sources of messages.
Finally, update your devices and antivirus programs regularly. It is worth remembering that information in today's world can also be a weapon, and the enemy is trying to use the Internet to manipulate mass consciousness.
