In the winter of 2022, Russia began to withdraw its troops to the Ukrainian border without explanation. The world media actively wrote about the possibility of a military invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. February 16, 2022 is listed by The Sun as one of the possible dates.

The Ukrainian authorities called on the citizens of the country not to panic.
