On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, a question and answer session was held between our institute and the Open University (UK).
The event took place within the framework of the Twinning project, which is administered by the Cormack Consultancy Group.
During the meeting, representatives of the Open University provided thorough answers to questions about the principles of the educational institution, which provides educational services purely remotely, about the peculiarities of creating an educational program and a separate discipline. The structure of the curriculum of the discipline at the Open University was considered separately.
Answers were also given regarding ways of interacting with students, the role of the tutor and the academic staff in this process.
Separately touched on the principles of teaching English both at the substantive and methodological levels.
Unfortunately, the allotted time was not enough to consider all the questions that the scientific and pedagogical workers of our institute wanted to ask. Therefore, it was decided to hold another session, at which it is planned to work out specific steps regarding the cooperation of our educational institutions in creating a joint product.
