Today we celebrate not only a symbolic date, but also an expression of will, strength and national dignity. On August 24, 1991, a significant event took place, when the Act on the Independence of Ukraine was adopted. This is the day that gave millions of Ukrainians a chance to take their fate into their own hands, to live freely and harmoniously.

This day is especially important in today's conditions, when the brave soldiers of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the entire Ukrainian people are fighting the aggression of the northern neighbor, defending the dreamed Independence. It is important to always remember what a high price the previous generations of Ukrainians paid on the way to an independent state, and what we continue to pay defending it now.

Today we celebrate the indomitable spirit and willpower of our country, its achievements and victories on the way to a bright future destiny. This day is a symbol of unity, courage and self-belief. It reminds us that together we can overcome any challenges and obstacles.
