On December 11, 2020, students of higher education and teachers of the Department of Ukrainian Philology of the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages of the DVNZ DDPU had a unique opportunity to participate in the webinar "Learning the Ukrainian language through the lens of innovative approaches." The meeting took place on the initiative of Dr. Ped. Ph.D., professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language of the Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko Olena Mykolayivna Semenog in the framework of the implementation of the agreement on scientific and methodological cooperation between universities. Master's students, postgraduate students, teachers of Ukrainian language and literature, and foreign literature from Sumy also took part in the event. This time the guest lecturer was Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, leading researcher, head of the Department of Teaching Languages of National Minorities and Foreign Literature of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine n. I. Bohdanets-Biloskalenko. Natalia Ivanivna shared her experience of developing and compiling school textbooks on the Ukrainian language not only for schools in Ukraine, but also for Ukrainian-language schools abroad, in particular in Poland. As part of the event, new school textbooks on the Ukrainian language for 2nd, 3rd and 7th grades, aimed at the modern "digital" generation of students, were presented.
