The second day of the Week of Psychology at GIIIM ended with a training session on the topic "Prevention of gender-based violence", which took place on October 11, 2023. The three-hour marathon for first- and second-level higher education applicants was conducted by a 2018 graduate of GIIIM (OP Secondary Education (History). Psychology), a practicing psychologist, a specialist in the field of trauma and crisis psychotherapy Tornike Kasrashvili.

 Easy presentation of the material, lively feedback, use of interesting educational videos made the meeting dynamic and, at the same time, deeply meaningful. Awareness of the types and forms of violence in social relations, knowledge of methods of preventing violence and ways of obtaining help in threatening situations are important competencies for future teachers and psychologists, which are necessary in educational, correctional and educational work.
