This morning, our messengers did not have time to transmit messages: "Are we writing a dictation?", "Radio dictation at 11.00! Didn't I forget?", "I always write it and today I will definitely write it", "See you on the radio dictation!"...
The friendly family of GIIIM, as always, joined the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian writing and language. Students, teachers and employees of the institute met at two locations: in the auditorium of the Dnipro National University named after Olesya Honchara, as well as on the Google Meet platform.
The patriotic event began with a story about the history of the holiday, and then, holding our breath, we watched the video "Ukraine Speaks and Writes" with the brightest fragments of past years' events.
The live broadcast of the international broadcast flash mob "XXIII All-Ukrainian Radio Dictator of National Unity" began at exactly 11:00 a.m. This year, with a sinking heart, we listened to and wrote a text called "Roads of Ukraine", specially prepared for this day by poetess and translator Kateryna Kalytko, which was read by actor Oleksiy Hnatkovskyi, known for his role as Ivan Dovbush in the historical film of the same name.
The atmosphere of spiritual unity with the entire state inspired those present to create a common cloud of tags from the names of cities, towns, and countries where they found shelter.
We speak Ukrainian! Let's cherish and glorify our language! Everything will definitely be fine! We will win!
