On January 10, 2024, on the basis of the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages, the 14th regional stage of the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literary Competition for Pupils and Student Youth was held, which was attended by 16 representatives of higher and professional higher education institutions in Bakhmut, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Mariupol, Pokrovsk, Selidovoy.

For fourteen years in a row, this Competition has contributed to raising the prestige of the Ukrainian language and literature, honoring the memory of the Great Kobzar, whose work today, more than ever, unites the nation.

The organizers of the event supported the talented youth of Donetsk region in their sincere desire to contribute to the development of Ukrainian culture and wished them inspiration, faith in their abilities, and confidence when writing their works.

Soon, the jury will announce the results of the inspection, and the winners will continue the fight at the final stage. We believe in Ukraine! We speak Ukrainian, we fight in Ukrainian, we win in Ukrainian!
