On January 30, 2024, professors, teachers, and school students had the opportunity to "travel" through their native East within the framework of an online excursion on the "Known and Unknown Ukraine" website – http://uvin.forlan.org.ua/ (Donetsk and Luhansk regions), organized and conducted by teachers of the department of domestic and foreign history. Event dedicated to on the 75th anniversary of our institute, attended by more than 70 participants.

The site, developed at the end of 2021, not only did not lose its relevance, but also became a real symbol of the Ukrainian East, preserving in photos and videos historical and cultural monuments that, unfortunately, no longer exist today. They were destroyed by the war...

The participants of the tour traveled from ancient times (excavations of the Catacomb culture) to the military present, remembered our glorious compatriots, and paid due attention to the European past.

After the excursion, a quiz was held, the winners of which unanimously proposed to transfer the received cash prizes to the needs of our soldiers, thanks to which we are able to work, hold such meetings, and live in a free country. "You are cool!", one of the participants wrote after the event, and this is an assessment not only of the work of its organizers, but also of our whole indomitable team.
