On June 5, the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Annika Weidemann met with a delegation of students and teachers of our institution. In addition to these people, the following guests were invited to the meeting: Secretary of the Bakhmut City Council - Kishchenko Svitlana Ivanivna, head. Department of Accounting of the Bakhmut Museum of Local Lore - Kornatsky Igor Arkadyevich, representatives of the newspapers "Forward" and "Events", the head of the cultural and entertainment center "Victory" - Leshchiner Victoria Naumovna.

The meeting consisted of 2 parts, in the first of which students and teachers of our institution had the opportunity to ask questions and hear their answers. The questions from the representatives of our university were various, but all of them were mostly related to education, socio-political life and ways to solve the Eastern Ukrainian issue.

The second part of the conference took place after a coffee break, where each local guest spoke about the current state of affairs in their field and the problems to be overcome for city development, normalization of funding, stopping the outflow of young professionals from the region and preserving cultural and historical heritage.
