Alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana)

Alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana)

This technique comes from yogic practices and helps balance energy, calm the mind, and relieve tension.

📍 How to do it:
1️⃣ Sit comfortably, straighten your back.
2️⃣ Close your right nostril with your thumb or index finger.
3️⃣ Inhale slowly through the left nostril (≈4–5 seconds).
4️⃣ Close the left nostril, open the right - exhale through the right (≈4–5 seconds).
5️⃣ Inhale through the right nostril → close it → exhale through the left.

This is one cycle. Repeat 5–10 cycles, focusing on your breathing.

💡 Effect:
✔️ Balances the work of the brain hemispheres
✔️ Calms thoughts and emotions
✔️ Helps prepare for meditation or sleep
