January 27, 2026 within the framework of the project implementation Erasmus+ DigiFLEd a webinar was held on the topic "Integrating Audio Tools into Interactive Language Teaching: Designing Speaking-Oriented Digital Lessons" (Integrating audio tools into interactive language teaching: designing digital lessons focused on speaking development).
The event was organized by the European partner of the project – University of Western Macedonia (Greece)The webinar speakers were leading experts in the field of digital language education. Anastasia Yannacopoulou and Chrysanthi Markou, who presented practice-oriented European experience in integrating audio technologies into foreign language teaching.
The team actively participated in the webinar Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages, which, together with teachers and students from other higher education institutions, explored the capabilities of modern audio tools and speech synthesis services aimed at developing oral skills in a digital educational environment.
During the event, real cases of creation were considered speaking-oriented digital lessons using the following tools:
- ElevenLabs, Luvvoice, NaturalReaders – to create high-quality audio materials based on text;
- Vocaroo – for quick audio recording and generation of audio links and QR codes;
- Padlet, VoiceThread – for organizing asynchronous discussions with voice comments;
- Canva, Genially, as well as the creation of "language avatars" in Voki – for implementing role-playing games and practicing speaking on behalf of characters.
The webinar participants noted the high level of practical value of the presented materials and their relevance to modern challenges in language education.

The presented European approach is an important incentive for the professional development of teachers and the further modernization of methodological approaches to teaching foreign languages.
