The project of international technical assistance of the European Union "Improving the quality and relevance of vocational education for the New Ukrainian School in Donetsk region", the beneficiary of which is the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Higher Educational Institution "Donbass State Pedagogical University" provides street Tchaikovsky, 63 in Bakhmut. The commandant of the hostel думку 1 expressed his opinion on the urgency and timeliness of this project Alla Alexandrovna Thunderstorm:“Existing facilities do not meet all the needs of the institute in places of residence. Some students are housed in the dormitory of the College of Transport Infrastructure, others - rent private housing. The renovation of the dormitory will provide at least 140 people, teachers and students, many of whom are displaced, with decent and safe living conditions and will help increase the number of applicants for higher education. "
At the first stage of reconstruction of the dormitory, which was carried out with the support of the Czech Development Agency, the roof was repaired, windows were replaced and the facade was insulated (photo 1).
The second stage is funded by the European Union.
As a result of the tender procurement procedure on a competitive basis, the evaluation commission decided to award a contract for the repair of the dormitory of LLC "NPO EUROTEK".
The Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture supervises the observance of design and estimate documentation.
About the progress of repair work told the head of the contractorMykhailo Ivanovych Kvitko: «The project is designed to repair a three-storey building with a total area of 2538.3 sq.m., including 1053.8 sq.m. living space, includes the installation of water supply, heating, wiring restoration, replacement of interior doors, repair and equipping of kitchens, sanitary and office space.
At the initial stage, preparatory work was carried out: dismantling of the old ceiling, failed structural elements, interior doors, removal of plaster and paint, breaking unnecessary partitions, bricked unnecessary doorways, cleaned basements of debris, treated walls with antiseptics, anti-fungal mixture (photo 2).
The heating system has been laid out, a package of documents is being prepared for connection to the heating main and a heat supply contract has been concluded (photo 3).
Water supply and sewerage pipes were laid, water metering units were installed and put into operation, water meters were sealed (photo 4.5).
Partially replaced boards on the floor, work is underway to arrange individual walls with drywall, plastering of walls, installation of suspended ceiling frame (photo 8).
Works on technical supervision of vol'the project of reconstruction is carried out by DONBUDPERSPEKTIVA LLC.
Therefore, there is confidence that the renovation of the dormitory will be carried out in full, efficiently and on schedule.
