The other day, our Institute gladly welcomed the head of the "Democratic Office in the East of Ukraine" Project, financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Mr. Michael Stiviter. Mr. Stiviter was accompanied by Ms. Iryna Ivanova, regional director of the USAID Project "Democratic Governance in Eastern Ukraine".

During the visit, the guests discussed the prospects of our educational institution's cooperation with the Agency for International Development (USAID) with the Director of the Institute, Mrs. Yevgenia Belytska. An agreement has already been signed on the provision of a complete set of furniture and necessary equipment for dormitory No. 2 (63 Chaykovsky Street).

The agreement also envisages the training of employees and students of higher education of the Institute, which will be organized during the summer-autumn of this year in the city of Yaremcha. 65 employees and 200 students of higher education will learn psychological adaptation technologies in conditions of emotional burnout, etc.

Our institute has a long tradition of cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). It was the first international organization that really helped the Institute in its development when it was moved from Horlivka to Bakhmut. It is difficult to overestimate the contribution of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to the success story of the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages in Bakhmut. We will always remember it!
