Destination for Children Project

Olga Danich Danich, a student of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Pedagogical University of the State Pedagogical University of Ukraine, shares her planned activity with us.

Olga is participating in the Destination for Children project, which will take place in Turkey. This event is related to volunteering. Volunteers will work in an organization that deals with the social integration of children from low-income families through recreational, sports and educational activities.

The purpose of the organization is to fight against "superstitions" that lead to social isolation, as well as to help young people improve their academic performance and complete it. To achieve its goal, the organization uses non-formal education methods.

Upon arrival at the project, volunteers will begin attending Turkish language classes and participating in activities developed by other volunteers for the most effective integration.

Olga said that she was traveling to Ankara (Turkey). She decided to take part in the project because she likes to discover the world, to study the culture of other countries.

The student stressed that she plans to help children from Turkish schools learn foreign languages. Olga is grateful for the support of her ZVO.
