From October 25 to 29, 2021, teachers of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages M.Yu. Shkuropat, Associate Professor of English Philology and Translation, and R.M. Sytnyak, Associate Professor of German Philology, are participating in an international internship in Estonia. The event is part of the Erasmus + KA2 project "Capacity building of foreign language teachers as a way to multilingual education in Ukraine and European integration / MultiEd", which is being implemented at the institute.
The program of the visit provides acquaintance with the best practices of Estonia in the implementation of multilingual education and the implementation of "language immersion" programs. This study visit takes place in 3 cities in Estonia: Tallinn, Tartu and Narva.
Participants will visit the Center for Language Integration, primary, secondary and higher education institutions, meet with Estonian colleagues and get acquainted with modern language teaching methodologies and principles of multilingual education, which are widely used in Estonia.
Participants will also take part in an international conference on the application of the CLIL methodology at the University of Tartu's Narva College.
