On October 26, the Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication hosted the grand opening of the first (Vyshiv) distance stage of the XII Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition for Pupils and Students. Based on current regulations and recommendations of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Chief Sanitary Doctor on combating the coronavirus pandemic, a meeting of young Shevchenko and Shevchenko scientists with representatives of the organizing committee and the jury was held online on Google Meet.
Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Philology Sklyar Iryna Oleksandrivna congratulated the contestants on the beginning of the competition and wished them creative inspiration and victory.
Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Philology Titova Olga Borysivna acquainted the audience with the requirements for the design of works.
It is gratifying that this year the competition was joined by applicants for I-IV courses of various educational programs. And all of us, convinced, were united by love for the true Ukrainian word and the inexhaustible heritage of the Great Kobzar.
