A marathon that no one wants to run

A marathon that no one wants to run

For me, as for many immigrants, war is a marathon without a definite finish point. It is impossible to escape without the support or recognition of this daily struggle. Therefore, on November 7, the day of the New York Marathon, another race began for me - also in New York - a Ukrainian village in the Donetsk region, just a kilometer from the front line.

International project "Marathon that no one wants to run" (created to draw world attention to the war in eastern Ukraine:

I urge everyone to cover the distance in support of Ukraine anytime, anywhere.

Participation in the race is free, and your support is invaluable.

Register on the site marathonnoonewantstorun.org and get a starting number with facts about the war, as well as a medal with a piece of used cartridge case from eastern Ukraine.

Only on the first day after the launch of nthe project received more than 12,000 registrations! Runners from 41 countries joined: Ukraine, Germany, USA, Poland, Serbia, Turkey, Canada, Sweden, Lithuania, Morocco, Austria, Netherlands, Australia, Italy, Slovenia, Indonesia, Great Britain, Denmark, Belarus, France, Spain, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Estonia, Belgium, Greece, UAE, Ireland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Portugal, Israel, Romania, Norway, Chile, Switzerland, Slovakia, Iran, Thailand, India.
