On November 9, 2021, our university joined the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian Literature and Language and the writing of the XXI All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity.

At the beginning of the online meeting, the statement of the Reverend Nestor the Chronicler was heard: «The book is an inexhaustible source of knowledge… Let's read every word, and it will saturate our mind and soul, imagination with eternal, universal wisdom, gold of pure truth». Students of the Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication Yulia Shcherbyna and Sofiya Rukhlenko touched the hearts of all present with the artistic words of Serhiy Zhadan and Halyna Britan.

Valentyna Gavrylivna Marakhovska and Tetyana Mykhailivna Radionova congratulated all fans of Ukrainian literature on the holiday and stressed the importance of such actions for the formation of a sense of unity.

At the end of the event, the winners and prize-winners of the first stage (Vyshiv) of the XII Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition for Pupils and Students were awarded.

The last bright chord of the festive event was joint participation teachers and students of GIIM (more than 60 people in total) in the international language flashmob "XXI All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity ", the text of which was prepared and read by Yuriy Andrukhovych. It is worth noting that it was not easy to keep up with the writer's memories, but it was very interesting. We hope that our colleagues will be among the winners of this year's language competition!

PS The written text must be sent during the astronomical day. Entries will be accepted online and offline.

The text of the dictation will be published on the website UA: Ukrainian Radio November 11 at 11:00. After that, emails will not be accepted.
