"Forget to warm the forgotten heart!"

Every year, together with the world community, Ukraine celebrates the Day of People with Disabilities.

Next to us live people with limited physical capabilities. Those who for some reason can not fully provide for themselves, take care of themselves. Disability can be congenital or acquired as a result of injuries, infections, etc.

Ukraine, like all civilized countries with a high culture of human relations, treats such fellow citizens as people with special needs who are in dire need of additional public attention. Such people do not call themselves disabled, do not demand self-pity, for them only the basic thing is important - the opportunity to live. To be in society, to realize oneself, to have access to decent education and jobs.

Celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, progressive humanity demonstrates that citizens with disabilities need special attention. Conditions must be created for them that make them feel equal among equals. After all, the attitude to people with disabilities determines the degree of civilization of society. By protecting the dignity of such special people, we are protecting our human face.

On this day, students of our institute - Kozakova Julia, Morgun Polina, Fedorchenko Diana, Radchenko Alina, Glushchenko Emilia, Kozlova Sofia, Boyko Valeria, Karpenko Anastasia, Velikorodna Polina, Ivakina Orina, Didenko Alina, Tatarchuk Oksana, Laptev Pride to this international initiative and visited the Day Care Center "Children Club", Located on the basis of the Center for Social Services in Bakhmut. On this day, students showed themselves in the role of educators, communicating with children. They played a lot of games for the kids, were creative, entertained the visitors of the center and told them interesting stories. And they brought the children sweet gifts, which they really liked. They were delighted that the volunteers prepared a real surprise. The leaders of this Center were also pleasantly surprised, noting the indifference of GIIM students who voluntarily visited the children and gave them a little of their time and attention.

On this day, we would like to wish them warm relations with their loved ones, cheerfulness of spirit and good health, as well as to remain for us an example of boundless human potential and great willpower. And we wish all volunteers inexhaustible generosity and mercy, which would be embodied in good deeds.
