The UN Women's Project "Strengthening the Potential of Young Women from Target Communities in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts" has started

In April 2021, in 10 target communities of Donetsk region, the UN Women project “Strengthening the capacity of young women from target communities of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to promote the Agenda“ Women. Peace. Local Security implemented by Internews Ukraine The project aims to support young women to increase their participation in peacebuilding and conflict resolution, raising their awareness of Agenda 1325 "Women. Peace. Security ”, strengthening their ability to participate in the localization of the National Action Plan for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, including by strengthening leadership and advocacy skills in monitoring local action plans 1325.

New enrollment has begun to increase the participation of young women in decision-making processes in Donetsk Oblast communities.

We invite 5 representatives of your community aged 17-25: Volunteers of Youth Centers, members of Youth Councils, students or just active young people who care about community development to join the training, which will take place: ➡️ 4-5, 11-12 February 2022 4 hours with the possibility of choosing a group (9: 00-13: 00; 14: 00-18: 00) online

The work will be organized as interactively as possible and conducted in groups, so please join either the groups in the Youth Centers, or via e-media with the ability to turn on audio and video.

The dialogue will be held within the framework of the Project "Strengthening the capacity of young women from the target communities of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to promote the Agenda" Women. Peace.
