The team of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of Donbass State Pedagogical University within the grant program of the project "Study and Distinguish: Info-Media Literacy" implemented by IREX (Research and Exchange Council) with the support of the British and US Embassies in partnership with the Ministry Education and Science of Ukraine and the Academy of Ukrainian Press, completed the development of the site "Ukraine is known and unknown".
The authors and developers of the site plan to post information about the amazing cultural heritage of our country, about the historical and cultural monuments of the Ukrainian province, many of which are really not known to the general public, even in Ukraine. The presence of these monuments is a direct confirmation of the deep historical roots of the Ukrainian ethnic group, its original unique beauty, its independent historical path.
Development of the site from the south-eastern region of Ukraine - from Donetsk and Luhansk regions has begun. The site presents seven main pages-sections, containing 72 photos, covering the main periods of development of these Ukrainian territories. An online presentation of the site took place on February 9 - the participants of the meeting made a sightseeing tour. Those present at the event - students of secondary and higher education, teachers, professors - praised the work of the team and the site "Ukraine is known and unknown."
