Hospitable, bright, cozy, ancient, with positive energy and many amazing places - all this can be said about the main city of our country, where she found a safe haven during the war, a student of our institute Mykhailytska Kateryna, gr. 211 - А.
Kyiv is a city that every Ukrainian should visit. The girl shares her emotions and worries: “Of course, I didn't want to get to the capital under such circumstances. But the people of Kiev accept and help like never before, and this is very gratifying. A huge disadvantage is the state of war, due to which it is not possible to enjoy the grandeur of cultural attractions. Passages are closed, all monuments are lined with sandbags or scaffolding in case of possible shelling. The Motherland was closed, the monument to the founders of Kyiv was closed, and everything on the Maidan was blocked. The Golden Gate is also under protection. I built the route using a history textbook. Most of the monuments, squares, temples had to be viewed from afar.
But Kyiv is still impressive. I really like walking around Kyiv, but I'm sorry that I don't have any acquaintances, and I really want to return home as soon as possible. "
