Throughout May, within the framework of the Center for Professional Development of the Teacher of Ukrainian Language and Literature for teachers and students OP Secondary education (Ukrainian language and literature). Psychology a series of lectures was held by Dr. Habilitation, Professor of the Department of Slavic Linguistics of the Institute of Linguistics and Literature of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, dialectologist Lyubov Dmytrivna Frolyak on the topic "Codified and non-codified micro-languages based on Ukrainian dialects". We learned about the peculiarities of the language and culture of the Ukrainians of Podlasie, Voivodeship, Bosnia and Croatia, as well as the Lemkos of Slovakia and Poland.

Learning Ukrainian dialects is very important today. After all, this is a living folk word, the key to understanding the history of the development of both literary language and artistic writing.

Communication in the format of a guest lecture contributes to the establishment of cooperation between institutions of higher education and activation of the intellectual and creative activity of the awardees. We are sincerely grateful to the lecturer for the extremely useful and informative material!
