From July 3 to 12, the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Languages Kateryna Zhukova and Kateryna Shcherbakova  took part in a training dedicated to the problem of sexual education. The event was held with the support of Erasmus + and the Loesje team. The geography of the project covers 12 countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Palestine, North Macedonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Georgia, Ukraine, Portugal, Turkey. Among the representatives were youth workers, activists, teachers and educators who have the opportunity to spread the knowledge gained from the training among young people.

During the intensive training, the participants considered the problems of sexuality education from different angles and had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the level of knowledge (or lack thereof) about sexuality education in different countries and about the willingness of people of different cultures to talk about this topic.

Participants performed many practical tasks. On one of the days, the residents had to take on the role of trainers and prepare their own workshop using creative and group educational methods, such as role-playing games, brainstorming, group work, energizers, group discussion, the game "truth, lie, I don't know", reflection etc. In addition, participants were shown digital tools that can be used to effectively disseminate information about sexuality education among young people. Training participants will be able to use this experience both in their professional activities and in everyday life to help young (and not only) people take conscious steps to develop personal relationships, well-being and health.
